Ms Xiong, the national nutritionist and committee of Beijing Dietetic Association, suggested the nine following foods can better prevent bad breath.
Warm milk
After eating garlic, garlic odor will be eliminated by just a glass of milk. This is because the milk protein will react with the garlic occurs, it can effectively get rid of garlic. Drink milk with a small bite and let it stays in the mouth for a while. Warm milk has better performance in removing bad breath.
Tea
After eating garlic, lamb or other strong taste food, you can drink a cup of tea with strong flavor. Eating the tea leaves (chew them slowly, until saliva softened tea leaves before swallowing it) can also help getting rid of bad breath.
Peanuts
After eating garlic and other strong flavors of food, chew a few cooked peanuts can get rid of bad breath since peanuts contain more than 140 kinds of natural aromatic substances.
Parsley
Parsley helps to eliminate mouth odors, including smoke. The longer the chewing, the better the preventing function. Mint leaves, tarragon, eucalyptus, rosemary leaves and nutmeg, also can play the same role.
Grapefruit
Peel the grapefruit and chew it slowly. It can help eliminating the mouth odor, hangover and providing positive digestion spleen effect.
Lemon
After eating garlic, add fresh lemon juice into a cup of boiling water. The bad breath can be cured.
Kumquat
Prepare fresh kumquat 5-6 pieces, wash and chew it. The aroma provides positive spleen effect.
Clove
Clove is known as the "ancient chewing gum", not only can act on badbreath, but also to treat toothache, ulcers in the mouth. Buy dry cloves from the pharmacy and put 1-2 tablets in the mouth.
Hawthorn
